By using sisi.news you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. In these terms, “we” means Silka Group (silka-group.com), which publishes and operates the site.

Using the site

You are welcome to read the site, and to share links to our stories, for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not:

• copy, republish or sell our content, in whole or in any substantial part, without our written permission;
• use automated tools such as scrapers or bots to collect content at volume, including to train AI systems, or at a rate that slows the site for others;
• try to break into, disrupt or overload the site, or to reach the areas meant for our staff.

Reading our public RSS feed in a feed reader is fine.

Our content and copyright

The stories, headlines, graphics and design of sisi.news belong to us or to those who license them to us, and are protected by copyright law.

Some photographs and other material belong to third parties and are used under their own licences, including Creative Commons licences. Each carries a credit line, and its licence, not these terms, sets what you may do with it. If you reuse such a picture, keep the credit line and follow the licence.

Quoting a short extract with credit and a link to the original story is fine. To ask for permission for wider reuse, write to info@silka-group.com.

You may link to any page of sisi.news. Please link to the page rather than copying it, and do not suggest that we endorse your site. Our pages may link to other sites, including social platforms through the share links, which we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

What we publish, and what we do not accept

We take care to be accurate and we correct our mistakes (see our Corrections policy). But the news changes, and what you read here may be incomplete or out of date by the time you see it. Background explainers describe the position when they were published.

sisi.news does not accept comments, reader posts or any other user-generated content. You are welcome to write to info@silka-group.com with a tip or a photograph. Tell us whether you want to be credited; we will not publish your name without your agreement. By sending us material, you confirm that you have the right to send it.

No warranty and limits of liability

We provide the site and its content “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors. The information on it is for general information only, and is not legal, financial or medical advice or investment advice.
